Designing products for manufacturing
Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is an approach to product design that systematically includes considerations of manufacturability throughout the entire design process.

In order to design a deviceusing DFM, the development team needs to understand the processes of how products are manufactured. This understanding comes through experience in manufacturing, training, and an understanding of design rules and guidelines. A permanent feedback loop that capitalizes on the learning curve within the manufacturing area ensures up to date information for the design team.

Parallel product design and process development
The innovative technological drive of Valtronic requires in many cases that processes and products be developed simultaneously and in strong correlation. This is a joint effort of the Design Team and the Technology Department.

Early involvement
The development flow offers the largest possible range of activities, from common specifications development to manufacturing support.
By including Valtronic early, as part of your development team, the design and prototype phase of your project can be accelerated, making you benefit from years of production experience.
